"Niazime" is Swahili for "lend me". We lend small amounts to people with an M-Pesa record, and show exactly what each loan costs before you take it.

Niazime is operated by Niazime Limited, a Kenyan company. Our application for a Central Bank of Kenya digital credit provider license is in progress; we will publish the license number here when it is issued.

What we stand on
Every cost is shown before you confirm, and nothing is added day by day if you are late.
We ask for a statement and your ID number, not your contacts, photos or location.
We never contact family, employers or contacts about your loan.
We listen; we do not judge. Every complaint is logged, acknowledged with a reference and answered within 30 days, and you can see the state of each one in the app.
